I recently switched to ADT and I already have some Z-Wave light switches and a smart lock from my old system. I’d like to use them with my new ADT panel if possible, but I’m not sure how compatible they are.

Yes, ADT supports Z-Wave, but only through certain versions of their Command & Control panel. I’ve personally added a Schlage Z-Wave lock and some GE smart switches without a problem. You may need to call ADT customer service to get pairing mode enabled, since some panels lock down the feature. Also, ADT won’t officially support troubleshooting non-ADT devices, so be prepared to tinker a bit.
