I'm getting a lot of motion alerts from cars driving by on the street in front of my house. I’ve drawn custom zones in the app, but they don’t seem to help much. Is there anything else I can try to cut down on the false alarms?

I had the same problem with my Ring Doorbell 3. A few tricks helped:

Adjust the Motion Zone so it excludes the street completely, even if that means narrowing your view.

Lower the Motion Sensitivity in Device Settings → Motion Settings.

Enable People Only Mode to ignore cars, but note it may miss pets or large objects.

Lastly, you can slightly angle the camera downward to keep cars out of view without losing your porch.
